Are points awarded for children in the family?

I'm afraid not - no points for children. Not even if they're well behaved

The only extra points a family can get is that if the spouse meets the basic
requirements for migration as well as the principal applicant (in terms of age, work
experience, any skilled occupation and English language ability) there is an
additional 5 points that can be claimed.
