Can anyone with experience of living in Perth tell me what to expect weather wise????
Does it have a winter like Vic? (Cold and wet from June-Sept)
How long does the cold/wet weather last?
Similarly - how hot does it get in summertime, and how long does the REALLY hot weather last? Are we talking days/weeks or months?

Any info would be appreciated

Only advice i could offer is research the matter far further than the climate.Perth doesn't float everyones boat for a variety of reasons. There is loads of threads giving both sides of the story to be found on expats.

Thanks for the info guys.....

It's certainly given me food for thought - I really thought the climate/weather during the winter was much better than Melbourne - obviously not

We came to Melbourne 3 years ago because of work restrictions, but now we've got the opportunity to move, I really want to chase my dream of nicer weather - beach/ocean lifestyle - outdoor lifestyle.

It was 3 degrees this morning when I left for work at 7 am. On the bright side it's supposed to warm up to 20 today.
