Well, some of us jumped ship a while back. But I take your point.

Games aside, I can't think of a single compelling reason to choose Windows over OSX or even a good Linux distribution like Ubuntu or Fedora.

I've taken the plunge and downloaded this. All seems good but their server seems incredibly slow - downloading virus updates at a rate of 8KBs/sec!

Yes, Ubuntu is remarkably stable, easy to use, and supports the latest hardware now... Pity there isn't a decent direct competitor to SBS or people would be jumping ship in their 100's of thousands...
