Anyone able to recommend any company other than AusPost who seem to charge a fortune. To send a parcel say 2-4kg to the Uk.

Looking to send from either Perth or Queensland depending on what friend I get to send me the cherry ripes.

I managed to send one from Uk to Perth at Xmas and only cost £40 for 6kg arrived in 7 days.

If you're not in a hurry, Auspost will send it very slowly for pretty cheap. Takes about six weeks I think. My friend who was backpacking sent a bunch of stuff home from Brissy last year so it does work.

Hi Rich - why are you getting your choccies sent this way? You can buy them online - just checked one Oz food shop which is online in the UK - you can get 24 full size cherry ripes for 50 quid, including postage.
