NVQs...worth it?

NVQs...worth it?
Hi all
Hopefully, we will be coming over in a couple of years time. My OH has all the expertise and qualifications, but I will obviously need to get a job too. The only qualifications I have are NVQs, up to Level 3, which I believe is the equivalent to AQF Certificate IV.
I need to get a duplicate certificate as I lost mine during various moves
and a duplicate is £35
Is it worth getting? Or should I just rely on a strong CV? I got the level 3 in around 1998, so quite a while ago and I do have recent and current work expereince (it is in Administration BTW)

In administration I would not bother. Nobody will want to see them, just mention them on your resume. In that market, in my opinion, its all about your previous job experience and personal presentation. No Australian employer would have a clue what an NVQ is anyway.
