Is anyone going to the boxing on wednesday night in Brisbane,I am up here on business and looking for advice on bars etc before the fight(I have a ticket)

Any ideas will be appreciated

As the fight is at the Entertainment Centre (Boondall i.e. not near anything except highway) your best bet is to have a few drinks in the city first and then get the train to Boondall (v short walk to ent centre). There is literally nothing near Boondall except roads and a few houses.

The pub right near central station (Platform Bar?) is pretty decent (good range of beers) and next door to it is a new bar (can't remember the name, sorry) that has a lot of boutique type beers too. Large screen TV's too.
