Default Money transfer Kosha ?

Hi i know there are some other threads on here on this recently but can someone confirm or recomend the company UKForex please?

We have just completed a money transaction but as we dont have internet banking have to visit our bank to pay the money into their Barclays account in London which seems okishhhh....

If this is how its done and someone has use them before then fine but it seems a bit strange....HELP!

Mrs Matt is driving me to doubt the whole thing now !!!

Cheers M

What's there to doubt? If you can't transfer the money to them through Internet banking, you have to get the money to them somehow.

What do you want confirmed?

Cheers

Not sure what you are finding strange. Now if they asked you to leave the money in a battered suitcase underneath a park bench and specified only used notes ... I would understand your concern.

But it is you that does not have the internet bank thus necessitating the visit to the bank. I have transferred money to the London Barcalys account twice now and received my AUD in my NAB account shortly thereafter. Don't worry about it.

Steve,
We went with another company last time the money went from our ac direct to our oz ac without pating into the 3rd party..... (perhaps it sat in their account but at no time did any statement mention a third party payement).

This time we pay them direct then they pay us this was the issue and my question was has anyone used these guys recently?

Cheers M

Ideal Shorts thats what i was asking someone paying into Barclays in London will do for me.....Stop using brown paper bags when Cloughie got caught out in the 90s!

Hmmm well I don't see how it could have been possible to use a third party but them not have the money in their hands at some point. Doesn't make sense.

UKForex is OzForex by another name. Perhaps one of the most widely respected FX companies of some years on this forum and comes with many personal recommendations.

You have nothing to worry about

They are a great company, nothing to worry about - been recommended on here for years. Tranzfers is the arm of the company that deals in smaller amounts and I've been using them myself for 8 years.

UKForex is a wholly owned subsidiary of OzForex, a subsidiary of Macquarie Bank Limited.

Do we trust Macquarie Bank
