Mobile phone in UK
I'm going home to London after Christmas for 3.5 weeks. Wondered if anyone could advise re mobile phone. Is it cheaper to get international roaming or buy a sim/prepaid when I get there?

PAYG sim - providing your phone is unlocked in the first place. Get it unlocked (if, indeed it is locked to a network) before you leave otherwise you won't have much choice and will pay through the nose.

And be aware that if its a Telstra or Vodaphone phone you could have hassles (depending on its capabilities). UK uses Optus type frequencies, so unless it can do both...
Three 321 is probably the best bet, with a £15 All-in-One addon for the month you are there.

I got https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...aWdQU2lLR0E6MA for wife last Xmas. I had the SIMs delivered to Aus and whilst they were flying topped up. They landed and inserted the SIMs to get service immediately.
