Depends which part of Doncaster you're talking about, but I'm not sure I'd want to add a drive to Box Hill to my morning commute.

I put another post on but not getting much response looking for school fees in Melbourne suburbs particular Point Cook (non- catholic)

Basically looking to know if $300 a month would cover school fee's, trips and uniform for 2 at primary or would it be more?

Hi Neil,

I can't speak for Point Cook particularly, but if you're looking at state schools then the fees are generally about $400 per year per child, and then uniform on top of that. Our school does an annual "excursion levy" of about $120 per child which covers most of their trips, but not all. Those not covered are usually optional though. Uniform depends entirely on the school - there is usually an "official" school uniform shop but much of the primary school stuff can be bought at Kmart/Target/Big W much cheaper. Some of the schools like ours sell logos that you can iron on to plain polo shirts so they have the school name on them. For example our official school shop sells a short-sleeve polo shirt for around $28 with the logo on. You can buy a plain shirt at Target for $5-8 and pay $2 for a logo. Much cheaper.
