Local Police/Neighbourhood Watch
A neighbour's house alarm has been going off every 20-30 minutes so I thought I would do the right thing and report it. Rang up my local Police station to get a recorded message to the effect that I should ring 000 for emergencies or another number for neighbourhood watch otherwise wait for someone to answer. I waited and waited and the call rang out. Rang again and the same happened. Rang the neighbourhood watch number and the line doesn't ring at all and drops out.
I'm in the Cannington area so I was ringing Cannington Police station on Albany Highway - is there a better way of reporting this?

If its not and is going off this much it sounds like a nuisance and give your neighbour the heads ups that their alarm is wrecking your head. Or ring your local council.
I would not bother the police for an Alarm of any description unless you see property damage or criminals as well.
Your heart is in the right place though fair play.
