Hello,

My "de facto" husband and I are just starting down the road of applying for a "Regional Skilled Visa".

He is having to do the skills assessment for the ACS. :scared:

Does anyone have any advice they can offer for the skills assessment and other aspects of the application.

Is he a straight forward ACS, or is he an RPL ACS (i.e. does he have an I.T. degree or equivalent MCSE etc etc)

ACS are usually very quick at turning around skills assessments, as in 2-4 weeks quite often!

Good luck, make sure you get all your references sorted out for previous employers and a degree transcript (if applicable). If like many people in I.T. you have moved around a lot then it can be a bit of a pain!
