Re: Jobs in Oz
Believe me when I say this you do not want my job, I do but then again I am weird.
However how I got it is the important thing, network within the industry you intend to work in attend training courses, workshops anything that gets you over a table with people in the industry.

Never going to say it lads, but toilets are never a bad way to make cash.
Renting out toilets is not a bad business.

Some facts & figures:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2...tion=australia
The Department of Employment's Skilled Vacancies Index measures skilled job vacancies in major newspapers.
It fell by 10.8 per cent during the month of March to a level of 40.7. This compares with the level of 100 that was recorded in 2007.
In the past year, the index has plunged by 57.9 per cent.
The biggest falls were in metal and wood trades, and medical and science jobs.
Western Australia suffered the biggest fall with a 16.6 per cent decrease, followed by South Australia (10.5 per cent), Tasmania (10.4 per cent) and Victoria (10.2 per cent).
The drop coincides with the release of figures showing retail sales slumped by 2 per cent in February, in seasonally adjusted terms.

Maybe surprising to see medical jobs listed in there?
