Middlesbrough's changed quite a bit in the last few years. We go to Redcar every year and usually end up taking my nieces shopping there one day.

I worked in the Boro from 1979 to 1981, before I had a moment and realised I needed to move away or I'd be at the County Council for ever and married to a man from ICI.

You will find to your horror once you are here that you are constantly called a Geordie and most people have never heard of Sunderland and Newcastle is just a faint blip on their radar.
