Default Internode internet provider

Anyone using of know anything about internode?

Im currently with Helstra, and now my son has left school he is using up all our internet quota.
So his mates have mentioned internode.

Looked online and Internode is a lot cheaper eg $59 for 50gb.
Helstra is $109 for 50gb!
However Ive never heard of internode.

Internode is great! Just have to make sure that whatever plan you're after is available in your area. We had to change to iinet (good also) because intenode don't have ADSL2 yet where we moved to.
Whirlpool is the place to go to check it all.

We use Internode at work, no issues in the last year.

My son who works for Westnet put me onto Internode ,the same plan you have quoted:
Easy Broadband $59.95 / 50gb @ 24000kbps
it has free content : ABC iView , Online Streaming Radio and Gaming
http://www.internode.on.net/resident...tered_content/
so we have ended up using far more free content than metered

Internode are regarded as the best ISP in Aus. It's generally between Westnet. IInet, and Internode.

Been with Internode for four years, no complaints at all. I'm on a 60Gb plan on a standard ADSL line (small place, we'll never get ADSL2 here) and I get 6.5Mb downstream, 1Mb up - which is great. Loads of unmetered stuff on offer including iView (watch all you want, no hit to the quota), a Majorgeeks downloads mirror, Sourceforge, games downloads and (my favourite) a mirror on Steam. Oh and they have the best newsgroup feed around which means I don't have to dirty my hands with torrents to get music, movies and software.

I've been with Internode for four years - ever since my previous provider was taken over - quietly - by Hellstra and just shut up shop overnight, sending merely an invitation to join BogPond.

I/N have always been responsive: not the cheapest but no complaints.

Another thumbs up for Internode. I've been with them for nearly 18months and at two properties.

Their customer service is brilliant. I was having difficulty with drop out at my new unit. I received a phone call at 8.30pm on a Saturday asking if everything had been fixed!

Telstra just launched some killer new plans - check out their bundles. They are not cheaper than naked dsl etc but for telstra they are tremendous value.

I'm on the 12 GB unlimited at present but when you reach your 12 GB you slow to what was the UK 15 yr ago starter speed... will check the new plans out as though I hate Telstra they are a bit like British BT you often change have more hassle and go back to them.
