Default Insolvency

I am trying to find if our crooked builder is insolvent. I know that he has many unpaid creditors and has swindled us. I have searched the net for means to find out which companies have declared or been declared insolvent without success. Can anyone help please?

Thanks

I could have helped had you been in the Uk but Victoria I am not so sure. Have you tried Consumer Affairs as a starting point? http://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/CA256...=Home~&2=~&3=~
