Someone did say on here that one couple got as far as leaving Brisbane airport in a taxi and turned round and went back. How true that is anyones guess, but it wouldnt surprise me.

It would be interesting to see who has spent the shortest time in Oz before deciding to come back.

I have, or so my husband tells me. I was moaning the other day about the lack of holidays/breaks since we have been here (which is a year today!) and he started reeling of a few, including he says a holiday in Hong Kong - we stopped there for 36 hours on our way over

Before you start going mental mate and fancy a crack at giving me the Glesga kiss, why not let it all out and get right into what the thing are that you cant take to?

Waiting patiently for reply

Oh no it is very bad. If you take a peek at the OP's other posts you will see he was rather upset by the name calling. Poor little diddums he will be back safe and sound to the UK soon.

Also looked at his other posts - he did seem a bit worried that he might not be able to buy the designer clothing he was used to at home. Also seems like he was bound for Canberra.

I'd say those two items were mutually exclusive. Bet that's his reason for going back....

Quote from the man himself
I am sorry to hear you dont like it too much, but to be honest, and dont take this personally, thats proabably a failing in you and your situation rather than Australia, what i mean is ... try to find the extraordinary in the ordinary, and enjoy the things you DO like ... and it might work out better for you.
Let it be his very own epitaph ...
