Two months for us 
(MODL 136 visa) But I think we were a bit unlucky with our CO at the time.

Need more answers on my poll, this is keeping me occupied checking each day to see who has answered, is certainly helping the time aspect of waiting to go well a little quicker!!

We got our CO bang on the 4 months estimated timescale, which I think for 136 MODL's is about right!! We had our medical request about 2 weeks after getting our CO.

Have only just discovered this site and wondered if you are already in Oz.
We are just beginning the long process of applying but my husband may have a job in Perth with a temp visa.
Fingers crossed this mite be an easier route than applying for perm residency.
Where are you in Oz?
Any info would be appreciated.

We are still in the UK and on the last bit of the process, well hopefully!! We are just waiting to hear that we got the visa now!! It is a long process and at times it feels like it goes on for years and years, but we started in April 2005, so ours will be about 14 months which isnt to bad really!! Some on here are alot quicker some a lot longer!!

Well, our meds and police checks went back at the end of January 2006 and we are still waiting !!!!!!!!!! I am suicidal. Our agent said we would hear by April the 7th as our case actually closed on the 9th of Feb and nothing has been heard. According to our beloved agent (who is getting sick of me stalking him) this is the wheels of Australian government moving slowly. SLOWLY I'M DESPERATE FOR NEWS, AAARRGGGHHHH!!!!! HELP
