Hints/tips on renting, estate agents, etc?
Hey. Going to be moving to Orange NSW in a couple of months with wife and 1yo son.
If anyone has any Orange-specific advice that would be great, but general advice on renting & estate agents here would be good.
Mother-in-law spoke to a friend in Orange this morning and said that there was a spate of people buying investment properties to rent out to the mines up there, but their plans did not necessarily work out, so there may be private rentals to be had. We rented privately in the UK but landlord was superb. Not sure how I feel about a private rental in a country I'm still finding my feet in. Anyone gone for a private rental before?
Orange seems to have the usual chain estate agents (Century21 etc).
