Default Goats Milk & Goats Milk Formula

Hi
Myself and my 4 year old son both have dairy and soya allergies so use goats milk instead. We buy it fresh from supemarkets/farmers markets etc her in the UK but I'm wondering whether it is as widely available/available at all in Oz? Brisbane to be exact! We are also planning baby no2 who will also end up on goats milk too probably - over her you can buy nannies goats milk formula but can't find any info about anything similar over there

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Rea

I've bought fresh goats milk a couple of times from Coles and Woolies in and around Brisneyland - doesn't seem that all branches stock it though. Pretty certain you won't stuggle too much, although I have no ideas on the 'formula' front - sorry

Sorry for asking the obvious but have you considered breastfeeding #2 - which might even help prevent he/she being atopic? Or are you talking post-weaning? Apologies if I've misunderstood.

Would love to consider breastfeeding but had them removed when I was 22 so no milk ducts just skin -no boobs but no cancer which is the main thing!

Goats/sheep milk is one of the closest milks to human milk that you can get apparently - only thing that stopped my son throwing up/ having chronic diorreah and a permanent runny nose anyway, once we cut dairy out he got better with days

Thanks for letting me know about the goats milk formula - one less thing to worry about! I had visions of my ma in law posting over boxes of the stuff!!!
