Default Getting a Home Loan

Just wondering if anyone has used someone like Loans.com instead of one of the big banks to secure a mortgage.
We've always used a reasonably reputable bank in the past but just want to know what you Expats think or can advise on.
All help much appreciated

If you have no policy issues -ie, your application is straight forward (good employment history, clean credit, citizens or permanent residents, min 20% deposit or equity), then suggest no problem. Having a look at their interest rates, their variable rate is good )for the sub 80% mark), their fixed rates are average (and that is common from online lenders). So if you ever like the idea of a fixed rate then generally the banks, credit unions and building societies are better in that regard. Here, just for an example, ING has fixed rates starting from 4.69% no fees and that is just one example - i think i saw a fixed rate the other day for 4.59%. Online lenders cant compete on fixed.

But just for a cheap no frills variable rate that you dont want to change, no issues here.
