Getting a good phone number
Hi
What is the best way to get a good mobile number (Prepaid not a Contract)
Telstra/Optus/Vodafone
by good number I mean something like 0404 444 333 or 0444 22 33 88
any idea how to get these numbers?

Ebay ('mobile phone number') - $200 for 04XX 313 616 for example.
They are referred to as Gold phone numbers - people dig through bins of pre-paid sim cards at woolies/harvey norman etc and check out the numbers (listed on the back usually) and then buy them to on sell.
My number is 'normal' and I have no problem remembering it!

I'd go around the Big W type stores with tons of Telstra starters on the shelves and check out all the numbers on the back. I got two really decent numbers this way.
