The red stars are an indication of hoaw many posts you have made - there is an explanation somewhere, probably in the site feedback forum.

Why won't it let me give out karma!
I tried twice yesterday and again this morning, I click on the little karma emblem and my pc makes a little noise and nothing happens, I've done it before so why can't I do it now. Anyone else got this problem or anybody know how to fix it, I've got karma just waiting to be given.
