They sell them in British goods stores or if you can find them you can get them online search for Whitworth's or Bachelors’ Dried Marrowfat Peas

you don't have to be all the way over in Australia to miss fish, chips, mushy peas or curry sauce.
I miss them too - there are none in Italy and no substitute either.
However - I do admit that I can get home a bit more often than you guys for less money and then there is no stopping me. Bring out the cider as well !

Try the Groper and his Wife in City Beach - it was fantastic - that was about 5 years ago mind! Its in a village type shopping centre off the boulevard.
frozen chips and reeking fish...i miss Haddock!
