The employment situation is worrying here in Bris, I think its more so weakness here in Oz rather than anything positive in the UK, because lets face it the UK is hardly booming albeit the administration would have you think differently?

The booming Australian dollar is affecting my pension. Converted into pounds I'm receiving about £2000 less per year than 2 years ago, and the value of my Australian bank account has dropped considerably against the pound despite considerably higher interest rates than in the UK.
