Ive not found any books but i found these websites that might be of some use
www.abc.com.au/children
www.australiaforkids.com.au
www.activityvillage.co.uk/australia-links
www.cybersmartkids.com.au
www.thesource.gov.au
they were in a copy of the aus&nz mag feb/mar edition
there could be information that you could print off and share with them

For older primary kids i would recomend the National geographic as my 8 year old has found that to be excellent.
Wargod if your child is in to the koala brothers (bbc) they have a website which i could dig out for you. My 4 year old loves them and has learned a little from them.
Hope this helps
Mandy

Good question OP. I've a 3 yr and 5 yr old - we had Crown to quote and they both received a book about moving to Australia and it was helpful - although 3 yr old just seemed pleased they had food there!

Think we'll check out Koala brothers too!

My son Jake unfortunately has the attention span of a Goldfish, unless it is Tom and Jerry - so we would prefer a book, thanks for the offer though. I will check out the links though.
