Very kind of you Dorothy and to be fair I ain't that young anymore haha (32). Yes sites like that and others similar are a great idea and I would most definitely be looking at them.

I'm doing the move alone.
Just awaiting the Aussie govt opening back up the Skills Visa slots for Accountants then I'm gonna start planning.

Must admit I did freak out for a couple of hours after submitting the application a few weeks ago. Just the thought of all the travelling I'm planning on doing for 6/7 weeks when I first get there on my own.

I'm not sure how all the youngsters in hostels will respond with a 35 y.o. in there with them!

When I was backpacking in my 30s there were a lot of people around me age, and quite a few older ones too. Oldest one I got talking to was a Dutch lady, in her late 70s. So don't worry, you;ll meet all ages while travelling
