Default Eeeek wev'e just booked the flights !

That's it wev'e done it now, we are definately going

Booked the flights leaving Heathrow 5/11/02 6.05pm via Hong Kong & Auckland arrive Christchurch 7/11/02 11.10am. Flying with Cathay Pacific. Booked inthe High Street with Going Places after searching the net (mainly ebookers) found Going Places could offer the same flight with only a few quid dearer than the net, so decided to we would rather book something so important face to face as the price was so close. The cost in total for 2 adults & 2 children (6&4) including tax and full insurance £1882.99.
The schedule so far 21-22/10/02 removals (PSS)
24/10/02 House sale goes through (please god no last minute hitches!)
5/11/02 We go

Bear in mind wev'e done all this and we haven't got our visa's in our sticky little hands yet!!!! Our agent assures us that they have been approved and will be validated this week and we should have them early next week. Ian hands his notice in tommorrow, although he keeps getting e-mails from the company he will be working for in NZ saying how busy they are so i reckon we will arive on the 7th and they will want him at work on the 8th!!!!

There was a time we thought we would never be able to get into NZ now its all moving so fast its making my head spin

Great news and fingers crossed for the house! My partner heads out on 18th November (arrives Christchurch 20th) via Singapore Airways (Manchester - Singapore - Christchurch - 792 GBP return through Trailfinders - had to have a return as he will probably come back when I eventually sell the house so that I'm not left with bringing 3 children under 6 to NZ on my own). 6 weeks today he goes, getting butterflies already so can sympathise with you, one day it's a brilliant feeling the next all the doubts set in. Let us know how you get on on the otherside.

Hi Paula

Bloody hell!. I thought we were doing it fast. Good luck with the house sale and getting the visas stuck into your passports.

We picked up our visas from London in Sept, the removal firm ,John Mason, are coming on the 21st oct , and we fly out from Heathrow on the 4th Nov. We're flying Malaysia Air to Brisbane. RDAY I like the sound of the firework send off, could you set a few off early for us PLEASE,I like those pretty spangly ones.
28 days to go, I got 28 days to go

Good luck to everyone still waiting

Hi Karen,

Just to let you know wev'e got the visa's now and the house sale still looks good (buyers survey on Wed so fingers crossed)

We wanted to book Malaysia (34" seat pitch & personal tv's) but couldn't find a flight with them at such short notice. So its Cathay (32" pitch with personal tv's) my other half decided to sacrifice some of his comfort (he's 6ft) for family sanity. Although we are trying to reserve bulk head seats. Couldn't get the extra baggage allowance though as Cathay only do it for Oz not NZ apparently. Altough kids have got full adult allowance, so 20kgs each we should be ok.

Just trying to get the house ready for removals now, I'm sure to forget something
