Driving licence question!
Just a quickie, maybe stupid question to ask, but does a UK Learners drivers licence equate to a Queensland learners drivers licence?
Cant really get my head round the sytem here!!!!!

Therefore for a learners permit I would assume you will have to take the theory test too.
Is anyone watching the State of Origin? Goooo Queensland!!

my hubby has a provisional license in the uk and he has been told at the gold coast office that he will be able to get a learners permit (1 year length) and that he must do the theory & practical to get a P plate.........

But if he has been having lessons in the UK, can he take his theory and practical test straight away in QLD?

Yeah you do. My son had a provisional licence in the UK but he has got to do the theory here to get a learners so that he can start having lessons here.
