Driving licence
In the UK, if you took a standard car driving test (and passed!) prior to 1997, you were given a licence to drive a lorry of up to 7500kg (a "C1" licence).
This seems to be the equivalent of a light rigid licence in Australia, which is for vehicles up to 8000kg.
Please could those of you who have transferred your licences to Australia who had/have a UK "C1" licence, please let me know if you were given an Australian light rigid licence or not and also which state you are in.
Ta muchly.
