Currently getting my skills assessment together and was wondering...

If you were to rack up a mountain of credit card debt or loans in the UK before you emmigrate how would they go about tracking you down in Austraila?

Could this affect your visa in anyway?

There are probably ways. But, you'd be seriously cutting all ties to home once you leave if you dont get caught out there. Probably a bad idea in my opinion. Plus, it would be playing on your mind all the time. Constantly waiting to get caught.

Think you'll find it's against the law to plan to rob companies, as you've more or less admitted that is your intention. Need police checks etc for visa so hopefully they'll catch you sooner rather than later and your visa entitlement will be gone as Aus doesn't want any more UK convicts

If you already have these loans etc etc , easier just to bankrupt yourself
Then they can take a run and jump, and if you do decide to come back in say 6 years you probably be free of debt

As poster is exploring committing fraud I'd say they get whatever they deserve. Pitty others will have to pick up the tab, as losses always get passed onto the other honest customers :curse:
