Default Confusion - 136 visa label

Hi.

Possibly a daft question but I noticed the following lines on my 136 visa which was granted recently:

CLASS BN RESIDENT P
SUBCLASS 136
CONDITIONS MIG.REGS.SCHED.8

INITIAL ENTRY BY ....

GRANTED 23JUL08. MULTIPLE TRAVEL. MUST NOT ARRIVE AFTER ...
HOLDER(S) PERMITTED TO REMAIN IN AUSTRALIA INDEFINITELY.

Nothing else is mentioned apart from my name and the issuing consulate along with numbers and characters at the top and bottom. My concern is the line marked in bold about 'conditions'. If I'm not mistaken, aren't there no conditions for a PR visa? Has anyone else seen this on their visa labels? Thanks.

Usually the condition is that the main applicant enters the country first - does it say that on any of them?

Sorry I haven't looked at mine for well over a year

Here is a link to schedule 8 of the regulations which states the visa conditions dependent on the Class of visa.

Hi Wendy.

I am the sole applicant so that condition shouldn't really be applicable I guess.

Thanks Nicky. But in this case, no specific condition is listed.... just CONDITIONS MIG.REGS.SCHED.8 is mentioned. Will it be safe to assume that there are no conditions on my visa?

It appears that everyone gets that line on their sticker. If there were any specific conditions (as per the schedule) the appropriate number would be mentioned.

As you have no number specified - I'd guess it means there are no conditions.
