Question Citizenship by conferral overseas

Hi,

Does anybody have applied for citizenship by conferral asking for discretion at overseas DIAC mission??

In what cases/situations people can apply for citizenship by conferral at overseas mission??

Please suggest and comment?

Thanks

The question I asked you was WHY ? As in why do you ask.

But as a point of general knowledge for the "goggle challenged" amongst us -

"3. Australian Citizenship by Conferral

If you have lived for two out of the last five years in Australia as a permanent resident, and one of those two years was within the last two years then you may be eligible to apply for Australian citizenship by conferral. Such applications are always processed in Australia and you should contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship for further information. To apply for Australian Citizenship by conferral you must be resident in Australia." - From the Australian Embassy websites in a few countries.
