Oh dear. No going back for you now! I can drink one or two XXXX Gold but it's too heavy on my stomach and after 3 I think why did I even drink one?

I drink Tooheys Extra Dry now. And it's on offer in 1st Choice $33.90 a slab

Yeah, I've drunk at the Andechs Monastery in Bavaria. Great beer, but it looks (and goes down) like black treacle and is unbelievably f**king strong! They had to pour us out of there, thank heavens we were not driving!

Sure, but is it too cheap in the UK? I saw the 1st episode of The Scheme last night - pretty horrific stuff and I reckon a lot of these people's problems are caused by the availablity of massive amounts of ultra-cheap booze.

Beer can never be too cheap if you drink sensibly

I know that and you know that - even unsensibly on the odd occasion. But it seems a lot of people in the UK don't know what drinking sensibly means! same for some in Australia - just costs a bit more.

This post has now made me sad!

I will now go and spend $50 on a case of Stella.

Great innit? Not what you'd call a 'Session Beer'.

Might get one for tonight actually, I need it after this working week ... just the one
