Default CAR RENTALS IN PERTH

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anyone out there can recommend some reasonable Car Rental places in perth. We arrive 23.50pm on 3rd September so by the time we have cleared through it will be very early hours of the 4th, so one that can drop the car at the airport would be good!!

Any suggestions much appreciated!!

Hi Claire,

You can't pick them up at the airport but I just found Bayswater Car Rental. Thye have a fleet of about 2500 Toyotas and are very favourable against other car rentals. I would taxi to where ever you are going and pick one of these up the next day, thats what I plan on doing.

Cheers

We used these to they have an office in town but there is one about 5 mins from the airport and you can use a visa debit card from the UK to pay the deposit if you haven't got a credit card.

We did no problem.

You can also hire sat nav from them for I think it was $5 a day.

We borrowed a friends but it would be the first thing we buy when we get there it was brilliant not sure we could have managed without it.

We used Drive West in Scarborough for our car rental- think the guy there was called Grant, it was recommended by the owner of the holiday let we booked, very good and reasonable.
Arrived at Airport and car was waiting for us, very nice Ford Territory for about £250 a week, we have 3 kids so needed something a bit bigger. They have a website with choice of sizes and prices.
Good luck

We have always used Avis, they always seemed competitive. you can book online and collect from airport anyway. They seem to have specials on too on net. Probably not the cheapest but you get inclusive mileage unlike the others which will give you 100ks free a day (not much unless you are staying in the metro area)

Just my 2cents worth, I have used either drivewest.com.au, these guys are great and will leave a car at the airport at no extra cost. Or as some one has mentioned earlier, nobirds.com.au are cheap too.

We've just come back from a reccie and used City Centre car rentals, a lovely new Honda Accord, ready and waiting at the airport with the keys with the man in the exit gate hut!! Very reasonable taking all things into account like mileage and CDW. There were 5 of us, although if there's that many of you I would go for a bigger car - luggage was the main problem in the boot!!

Have a great time!!

We visited Perth in 2003 for a months vacation and I recall that there is levy applied to care rentals that start at the airport. We got a taxi on the first night then picked the car up in the morning.

Can't remember exactly what we saved but it was not to be sniffed at.

Best of luck
