Hi all. My wife and I left Qld for the UK after 6 years and 1 baby.

We are now a family of 4, the girls are 5 and 3. We plan to give them the outdoor lifestyle that Brisbane offers BUT we don't have the benefit of grandparents to help out with scho holidays.

How do others who have made the move manage the kids during school holidays?

Ok so I guess I'm asking about the availability of...day camps? Child care facilities? How the government subsidy works? Anything really would be a great help, I (my sensible better half) thinks we should at least have a reasonable understanding of the plan rather than trusting solely '...she'll be right mate'😉
