Canberra bills
Hi all
we are currently researching our commitment statement for Canberra and would like to know how much we can expect to pay for bills based on just the 2 of us on a 2 bedroom house or flat. What can I exect to pay for gas apparantly rhis is cheaper than elec. How much is counci tax? Internet? What is your usual food bill a week? Do you have contents or life insurance?

We are 2 and live in an apartment in the city.
Looking at our last bills:
Gas for 3 months: $93
Electricity for 3 months: $123
Foxtel (like Sky, but worse) per month: $121
Internet Unlimited off peak, capped on peak: $70 per month
Life Insurance per person: $90 a month (that’s for 1.5 million, lol)
Private Health Insurance: $71 a month per person.
The rest like council tax, strata, water rates etc are paid by the landlord.
