Nursery Nurse work in Sydney ( NSW).
Hi.
This is my first post here so I'm new. I do apologise if this is in the wrong place.
Long story short I'm engaged and my partner is Australian. We plan to have me move over once we are married but we are finding it terribly difficult to about what to do about my work. I have a CACHE level 3 diploma in Early years education and care.
The problem is whatever website either government or people giving advice it states NSW does not have a governing board in regard to equivalent qualifications. I am very confused on what steps to take. How do I get my qualification assessed or before that will my qualification even be eligible for one. All the previous threads I have seen on this are quite old and do not seem to be very helpful.
The visa isn't a issue in case someone brings it up. It's about finding something that shows I am qualified in this area so job application will be easier.
Thank you ahead of time for your help.

I should think this lot would do it. But in Australia they’re not called Nursery Nurses (nurses are a whole different ball game). You’ll basically be looking at child care work.

Nurseries in Australia tend to sell landscaping material, you would be child care worker with certificate III from Tafe.
