Hi how many airmiles for 1st class Etihad Sydney to London LHR.

And any Idea of extra costs on top?

Just called them and was Told it would be 100k each way per person is this right?

It is priced as 2 separate awards...I thought it was 60k + 45k so 105K each way. Extra costs are just legit taxes, no fuel surcharges. Probably about $100 SYD -LHR, $300 LHR-SYD?

Edit: just checked, 100k is right, 60+40.

AA website shows availability of 1st class flights 2.8.16 LHR SYD but will not allow booking.

Called AA they say no flights available.Apparently they have had a few people trying to book same flights today.


Can anyone find me flights 1st class leaving any airport in UK to any airport in Australia on or around 2/8/16

I did have a look at the website today and it showed Qantas F available every single day in the calendar, which I'm pretty sure is not actually the case so there must be some sort of issue.

Need some help

Want to go back to Chch (NZ) from Ncle (UK) - Biz class

anytime from this weekend onwards..

i have rang Customer Services twice but they are unable to find any flights.
I'm not too confident that they know what they are doing as they asked me the route as they dont know it..
So i suggested KL, HK, Dubai

can any kind soul out there help, who has access to a planning tool?

I think its like the old days.. you have to give them an exact route and times etc.. and they will punch it in

looks like i managed to get there but its going to cost 75K in points not 60K as etihad charge for a separate leg - so i get a 35K portion and a 40K one..

Never mind... homeward bound is the most important point

Well actually it's AA that charges for the separate leg as they still haven't worked out that the Middle East is a perfectly valid transit point between South Pacific and Europe...therefore they treat it as 2 awards. Still, EY J is a great product and the difference is not that much in dollar terms so all good!

So the boyfriend and I have booked for us to go to Toronto via Dallas in May. We couldn't find business but we're ok with thsat. Two round trip tickets cost $545 AUD plus used the last of my AA miles. Can't complain about that.
