Default BRITISH RADIO STATION

I am a journalist working for a national radio station in the UK. We have a young audience and want to do a series of features from Australia on Australia. Is there any burning issues that you think would be good for us to cover out there at the moment, anything new happening that young Brits would be interested in? Please get in touch.

The banning of glow sticks at rave parties in the country, to protect the the teenagers.
All the sheep in Australia are painted with glow- in -the -dark paint,so they can be rounded up at night.Unfortunately this has made them easy targets for the Dingo's.The dingo now attack's anything that glows at night and Raver's have gone missing.Hence the ban.
Also the kids are not allowed to skateboard down Uluru (Ayres Rock) anymore.
So leave the board at home.

A bit of typically Aussie light relief.

Bazza and Kylie walking across Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Kylie says to Bazza. :"Bazz, I'm Pregnant, and I want you to put your name as the father on the Birth certificate and take responsbility like a real father.... Or I'll jump in"
Bazza back to Kylie.... "Jeez Kylie your a good sport"

An oldie, and probably not a goodie.

A bloody obvious one would be: interview people who have emigrated out there (whether they love it or hate it).

Cheers
b (who is not a young person anymore )
