Default Brisbane schools and areas

Hi all, my family and I will soon be moving to Brisbane and would really appreciate any views on good schools and locations to live please.

I'll be working in Murarrie. Happy to commute 30-40 min drive if need be. Most important to us in where we settle is the quality of the school (Private or state is fine). Kids are 7 & 8 so have a few more years in primary but as we are looking to settle for a number of years after quite a lot of travelling we have an eye on secondary options too.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks

Hi Livbel. Murrarie itself is quite a nice area these days. Lots of new housing estates with young families. Local state schools are okay and close to Cannon Hill Anglican College which is quite a nice private school. Suburbs closer to the city but only ten/fifteen minutes drive from Murrarie like Bulimba, Seven Hills, Camp Hill, Coorparoo etc are a bit more expensive for housing but are really nice suburbs with excellent amenities for young families. Good luck with your search.
