Default Why doesn't Australia (& Canada) be a bit more generous/open the door to UK Citizens?

(1) Large geographical land areas with relatively small population densities;

(2) The Queen is their Head of State;

(3) The UK is the mother country of the Commonwealth;

(4) They were all formerly part of Britain;

(5) A shared language and similar educational, cultural, social, economic, legal, constitutional and political systems, and values;

(6) Many Australians, Canadians, and by extension New Zealanders and South Africans, like to live and work in London to use as a base to visit Europe on weekends and during holidays, so the arrangement could easily work both ways.

I personally don't see what the problem is. Open the door either way.

Australia and Canada are party to a global conspiracy, coordinated by the Americans.

I don't know, but in the past the UK has been the more hostile partner in terms of shutting down options. They dumped a lot of their relationships when they went with the EU. And keep tightening the visa rules for Australians and Kiwis.

I feel sorry for people who do this, it's as if they're desperate for someone, anyone to pay them a bit of attention and this is the only way they know how to get it. You can't help but wonder what made them this way, must make for a very sad life

A "similar" troll with a similar name the same name started nine threads last November.
