People die in summer heatwaves because they do stupid things like closing the windows (especially old people who sometimes find it difficult to get around & open windows or who are scared of being broken into).
When its hot in Qld YOU NEED TO OPEN THE WINDOWS TO ENCOURAGE A BREEZE THROUGH THE HOUSE!

There has been a delay on the house again..... and yes it was the council..... Im led to believe..... we had to wait for the aproval on the slad and drainage b4 any further work could be carried out....
anyways alls gud and some of the wood has now been delivered.....
went to the house this morning and our joiner was working..... measuring all the room sizes and marking a copy of the plan onto the footings..... hes then gone around it with wooden plinths as you will see from the pix....

Well originally we were told the end ov march....... but with the councils delay i am working to the end ov April...... if any sooner it will be a bonus...

Boomie, you're doing really well with the house - coming along so quickly!!! Ours took 3 months to get to that stage
