Default Australia Property Investor

... this month's issue. If anyone's got it, please refer page 54. It's about Katrina and her investment portfolio. The article mentioned that Katrina was able to purchase her 1st property (a duplex) with ZERO downpayment. She utilised her Home Owner's Grant and Key Start loan to finance the property. She mentioned something like 98% financing. Is this possible?????

I heard an advert on the radio the other day for a company offering 100% or even 105% home loans. Imagine the insurance on that

I know of 106% loans that cover purchase price and legals/stamp duty.

For many it is their entry into the proporerty market. It also helps some business people.
