For goodness sake, do you realise how warm and dry the south of uk actually is. Stop using the Northern most parts of Northern Ireland and Northern Scotland as a generalisation.

The rest of the world exaggerates in their favour and Brits always put themselves down, thus creates a totally and unfair wide gap. Pure saltiness on the Aussies because we own them and I know Aussies and how cold it gets in Melbourne and Sydney just to name 2 examples.
MELBOURNE CLIMATE IS SOOOO COLD THREE QUARTERS OF THE YEAR !!!!!!

TASMANIA IS POSITIVELY LIKE ANTARCTIC VIRTUALLY.

UK cold as Tasmania GOD NO WAYYYYYY HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!

South of uk 68 degrees 20 celcius in December 95-105 35-40 celcius in Summer.

Hardly ever drops in to single figures temperature wise centigrade, 50s in fahrenheit at lowest in south UK, dry like a desert, semi arid in the south east, low rainfall year round, sub tropical plantS / animals on the south and riviera.

There is nothing wrong with cold in any case. Sat here in a Scottish autumn and winter on its way - already had sleet and first snow probably in the next couple of weeks. Will take that over WA summer any time. Running from air con to air con and covering yourself in gunk to try and not become one of the one in three that gets skin cancer (Something I failed at and now have the scars and on going tests as a result).

I marvel every single day at the colours of the trees at this time of year, or the days in winter walking through a forest covered in ice and looking like something from a winter wonderland or going through the mountains with snow covered peaks.

The south of the UK is cold more of the year than it is warm.

The south of the UK is overcast and grim more often than it is not.

These are the facts. Get over it.

The big question... who thinks this could be someone, perhaps previously either banned or told to scurry away.... fairly transparent and not a great effort! Just makes them look even more silly :-) :-) :-)

Or, if not literate, use google to check facts BEFORE stating them. There are soooooooo many factual errors regarding temperature in that post, excluding the speeeling mistakes.

If that was even remotely true on any level, there's a fair chance I would never have moved over. Prawn.
