Yes I have had both solar and gas heating installed
It was about $2500 extra for the gas

Ours was 26 two weeks ago when I turned it off, too cold 
Got a pool cover last weekend so will be interesting to see what difference it makes.
Anyway it's getting into winter, spa weather.

Please come back with the pool cover stats. Without one ours goes to 25 then back to 22 overnight... With a 750w pump running the solar its beginning not to be worth it.
