Default Unprocessed wheat bran

I will be visiting Australia later this year.

Does anyone know if Woolworths still sells their own brand Unprocessed Wheat Bran (not All bran)?

Coles and Woolworths used to sell their own brands of bran, but Coles (at least in Queensland) has stopped selling their own brand and now only sells a very expensive packet from another company.

I would be grateful for any leads on where to buy unprocessed wheat bran at a reasonable price.

Not sure what you mean by 'unprocessed' since to produce the bran wheat has to be processed! I think you just mean the bran coming from what's taken off in the mill as part of making white flour.

The Coles and Woolies home brands are just made by which ever miller is prepared to bid the lowest to win the contract.

If I could recommend Laucke's flour products as at least coming from an 'independent' milling company...you can find there products in most super markets..here is the link to their special meal flours and brans http://www.laucke.com.au/meals.html

Thank you both very much indeed and thank you for the link. I only called it "unprocessed wheatbran" because that is the label on the packet.

Lesleys, a very grateful thanks as that was exactly what I wanted to hear. I was so surprised and disappointed when Coles stopped selling theirs.
