Hi
Had no broadband for 3 days and just catching up. We are off to validate at the beginning of June. We will be coming back (unfortunately) to complete the sale of the house but due to go back to Perth for good end of Aug/beginning of Sept. We are heading to Mandurah. What about you??
We have made a few friends on BE over the past year and are going to do a meet up in Mandurah and meet in the flesh.
Hope it all goes well

Got are visas and sold our house in manchester, looking forward to heading out there in october. lots of things to sort out but sure it's all going to be worth it!

Got are visas and sold our house in manchester, looking forward to heading out there in october.Went on a recki in December and loved it so much we bought a plot of land in carrimarr, just payed stamp duty some things don't change, lots of things to sort out but sure it's all going to be worth it!

we (2 of us & our 8 yr-old) are planning on heading to Perth mid September. I have 2 aunts & all their families scattered around various suburbs so not sure where we'll end up.
We went over for a holiday 2 years ago but it was only for 2 weeks so it was hard to cram everything in. Should have loads-a-time for all that soon though - fingers crossed!!
We're just waiting for our visas to be granted (9 weeks after meds & still nothing - apart from an e-mail to confirm that they've got them back from Sydney & put them in our file!!) - this bit's the worst...

yes it all will be worth it , when you have got your house and job and money comeing in.then it will be time to BBQ and drink and settle in . well drink and bbq when i get there ha.
when in october are you going ?? we go on the 1st october from birmingham at 2.20 pm arararara yes.
all the people going over in september and october should meet up and have a BBQ in november time or december ??when we have all settled a little ? we all need a drinking partner hahahaha

We are hoping to go to Perth around October/November....I'm just secured a job there and moving from Canada to Perth. Its been just under two years since we moved from UK to Canada. Although the life in Canada has been brilliant, we decided to try out Australia as the weather is better and the job opportunities are great. We are a few friends in Perth and hoping to make more when we move....

We are hoping to be in Perth Sept/Oct, should hopefully be exchanging contracts on our house tomorrow & into rented in 2 weeks. I imagine then it will all start to hit us then
Went on a recce in 2004 & really loved it there
We will initially rent in Mandurah I think as that may be the best option job propect wise 
but who knows really, might end up anywhere! 
We will be Billy-no-mates also
no rellies there, but we are in touch with a nice couple who emigrated last year
Sounds like a good idea for a Perth Newbie meet

Boys start School - Mid October !
The Business, Migrate Global Perth will be up and running 1st Jan 08.

We Fly Out 1st October from Manchester 1405 - But staying In Dubai for a couple of days.
We arrive Perth 4th October at 1725........Staying with Family in Ocean Reef for a month, whilst looking to buy/rent in Joondalup Area.
