My relocation is finally looking like it will happen this year after a false start last year where the company was going to send me to the Melbourne office. Now the destination is Brisbane with a likely move date towards the end of October.

Buzzy-Bee and I had been in communication last year when the move was scheduled to be Melbourne as he has a self-contained flat-let for rent. So I am wondering if there are any members in Brisbane that do similar or know of a short term rental suitable for 2 months or so until shipment arrives? Would be for two adults and two well-behaved and completely house-trained indoor cats after their 10 days in quarantine. Office is very close to South Brisbane Parklands.

I have looked at Airbnb etc but thought I'd try the forum first. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi I am currently in a short term let in bris,

We have rented it for 3 weeks, and the price was cheaper than any hotel I could book the link is here and the owners have been lovely helpful and welcoming. The area is nice and quiet but close to trains and motorways. It's got everything we need and TBH it is not what I would have chosen first but it's very homely and after each day of running around sorting stuff out it's been an ideal place to get back and just chill.
