Any help/advice much appreciated
Hi everyone
I joined today as i am hopefully moving to melbourne in Jan after being offered a job there and so as you can imagine i have loads of questions.
First of all i am an insullin dependent Diabetic and am a little concerned as to how this will affect my visa application (457) anyone with any experience of this?
I also wondered if anyone had any idea of nice suburbs local to Footscray or Preston which is where i will be placed?
Any experience of au pairs would also be helpful as i have 4 children.

Australia has a National Diabetic Scheme for residents. My daughter is insulin dependant and she has a number and gets her meds cheaper.
Have a look at Diabetes Australia Victoria site and you may find out more info there.
It will depend on your visa entitlement to medical treatment here.
