I think you will struggle to find size 6 clothes out here. The smallest I have seen is an 8 and they are hard to come by.
Clothes wize I think it will take you a while to find which shops suit your style and shape etc. I quite like Colorado stuff it is similar to Next/Gap/ River Island. Though I have found, because of the climate I have hardly bought any clothes here, you just don't need a lot of things.

Woolworths sell Andrew Collinge shampoo and conditioner at $8 per bottle, which is cheaper than the 4GBP it sells for in UK!
Also Pantene available by the megalitre

Nicole (who posted this) has been buying Aussie shampoo (I'm a bloke. I have no idea what this does that Tesco's shampoo doesn't, but anyway). This must be cheaper over there. £4 here, I think.

I echo the shoes, jeans and undies brigade!
Only thing I dont agree on is the toiletries etc, I use Aveda stuff and its cheaper here and quite georgous. Found No.7 (yes the boots one) skincare and make up in Myers, though I cant say if its the same as have never used it, but you can get Mac, benefit, lancome, sheisedo etc at comparable prices. The stuff that seems expensive is the cheapie stuff in uk, i.e. the rimmel make up is extortionate!
When I went back to the uk in June I bought Jeans and shoes, everything else I can find or live without!
As for size 6 clothes, I think the sizes here go down one which would make you a 4???? Have seen size 6's here but I think that would be a uk 8???someone may be able to put me right but i seem to be one size less.

Found that quite a bonus, have been struggling to be a size 10 for years! See you're in brum saraliz......I really, really miss Selfridges more than any other shop!

I earn the Aussie dollar not the pound so yes I used these when I lived in the UK but I am not paying around $150 for a nice set of everyday underwear!!!
